Orby is built on generous open-source work, licensed assets, and community shaders. This page lists the people and projects behind the app and the marketing site, with links to original sources and license terms where available.

3D assets — overview
Orby (the software, brand, UI, and original art) is separate from the third-party 3D models used in marketing screenshots, turntable frames, and optional demo files. Creators and platforms below retain ownership of those models; Orby uses them under the licenses shown on each source page.
- Files opened in the app: models loaded in the browser stay with the person who opened them. Orby does not claim ownership of those files; see the Privacy Policy.
-
Marketing on orby.studio: stills and video are renders made in
Orby from downloaded meshes. This site publishes images and encoded frame sequences, not
the raw third-party
.glbfiles, except where noted under bundled demo geometry. - Trademarks: product and vehicle names (for example Audi, Jeep, New Balance) belong to their respective owners; use here is for identification in credits only. Brand owners who do not want their intellectual property shown in Orby marketing can contact Orby; requests are reviewed and relevant material is removed or replaced when appropriate.
Inline lower-thirds on large homepage feature sections (not the small pro feature cards) mirror this section where possible. Missing source links can be reported to orby-admin@proton.me.
Marketing homepage
Assets used on the homepage: the dropzone hero, the scroll marketing one-pager (screenshots, turntable WebP/JPEG sequences, PNG cutouts), and related stills. License pills reflect the label on the linked Sketchfab or Meshy model page when a permalink is listed. Anyone reusing these meshes should confirm the current license on the source site.
Meshy Community
The Lemur and Prismatic Dragon assets come from the Meshy Community gallery (published under CC0 per Meshy’s Terms of Use and Meshy Help Center). CC0 allows commercial use without requiring attribution; Orby credits @cyber_fox and kaesar3d on this page and in the UI anyway. Models generated on a paid Meshy plan follow Meshy’s paid-tier ownership rules; that is separate from these community downloads.
Dropzone hero
Decorative renders beside the “drag and drop” panel—the character (top-right) and dragon (bottom-left). Same credits appear inline under the dropzone as Featured Dropzone Artists.
